We're right on track! I'm posting this because we've passed my last posted Stretch Goal target, so it's time to come up with some more checkpoints on our ride to Halloween!
As mentioned, we've just past our latest milestone marker. A fun little bonus reward, and a useful tool if you play online as much as I do (or just want some cool images to use as inspiration or share with other players to describe Storyguide Characters.
ACHIEVED! - At $155,000 in Funding - VIRTUAL TABLETOP TOKEN SET - Digital assets will be created to support online play for Curseborne, including key character and creature tokens from the book. This online asset pack will be added to the rewards list of all backers.
Looking back at our Sretch Goal achievements thus far, you can see that we're sprinkling in some fun milestone markers to help us keep pace and give us fun bonus rewards, but our big focus is building three Curseborne supplemental PDF products via these Stretch Goal targets.
TANGLED WEBS is shaping up to be an awesome book about strange liminalities and shattered spaces based on real places to use in your game. We've already expanded it twice more, adding Storyguide characters and adversaries, along with story seeds for each location.
CURSEBORNE FICTION ANTHOLOGY will be home to short stories about Curseborne characters and shed more (dim) light on the world of Curseborne and how some of the elements interact with one another. We've already expanded this supplement to include three stories thus far.
ACCURSED ADVENTURE is our third Stretch Goal supplement, with premade characters and an adventure to launch a campaign. Whether played directly from the page or used as inspiration for your own games, this is a great project, and I think we're due to expand it!
So, let's expand a couple of our supplements and throw in another milestone marker there to take us into the final days of the campaign...
At $160,000 in Funding - Accursed Adventure Supplement - We will add a second playable adventure to the adventure book. This Accursed Adventure Supplement PDF will automatically be added as a bonus reward to all backers receiving the Curseborne PDF as one of their rewards.
At $165,000 in Funding - Streaming Overlay - A set of overlays for your online game will be created, for your use when streaming your Curseborne session. This reward will be added to the rewards list for all backers.
At $170,000 in Funding - Curseborne Fiction Anthology - We will add 1 more story to the anthology. All backers will automatically have the Curseborne Fiction Anthology added as a bonus reward.
With the systems and rules chapters dropping to backers this week, it's time we start making some characters! These unofficial character sheets (one fillable in Adobe Acrobat, one not) were crafted by one of Onyx Path's frequent freelance authors, Chris Jones. With his permission, feel free to use them for your games until an official sheet gets created!
